History of Nexterm & MRY
May 2001
Nexterm Inc. was established for the purpose of prevalence and promotion of Thin Client in Japan.  
Apr 2002 Sales of WindowsCE-installed Thin Client Nexterm NE began.
Later, Nexterm was fully ahead of its time’s needs, and continued development and sales of unique thin client products one after another.
 
Jun 2002
Joint development of thin client began. Linux OS was installed with ELT, Inc. and MontaVista Software, LLC.  
Mar 2004
Windows XP Embedded was successfully stored on compact flash, converting it to a thin client for the first time in Japan.  
Jul 2004
Participated in a remote education experiment with 7 companies including ACCA Networks Co., Ltd.  
Oct 2005
  KJS Communications Corp. was established within Kohjinsha Corp. for the purpose of promoting B to B business.
Mar 2006
  Supply of Kohjinsha notebook PCs to Nexterm as their thin client base machines. Later, supply of base machines was continuously expanded and took part in the development of thin client products.
Jun 2006
Development and sales of domestically produced compact thin client RT-500 began.  
Sep 2006 Business rights were transferred to NetSecurity Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Subsidiary of Cybozu, Inc.). Contributed to business development of Cybozu Group as Cybozu Media and Technology, Inc.  
May 2007 Joint SaaS service business began with Sakura Internet, Inc.  
Jun 2008
TC3 project was established with Tachibana Eletech Co., Ltd. (listed in the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange) for the purpose of prevalence and promotion of Cloud Client and its sales began.  
Mar 2009
Development and sales of Mobile secure Client TN07 began.  
May 2009
Development and sales of breakthrough virtual technology, VUMS=Virtual USB Management System, began.  
Mar 2010
  Corporate name was changed to MRY, Inc. along with reorganization.
Jun 2010
MRY, Inc. and Cybozu Media and Technology, Inc. agreed on the transfer of the thin client business. Thin client and Cloud Secure Technology business have continued to be developed and expanded by MRY, Inc.
